By accessing or using Nostalgic ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.
Access to the Platform requires authentication via Google or Facebook OAuth and a valid invite code linked to your graduating class. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account.
You retain ownership of all content you submit (photos, bio, updates). By submitting content, you grant Nostalgic a non-exclusive, revocable license to display it to other verified class members on the Platform.
Factual information from yearbook records (names, graduation year, clubs) is not subject to copyright. Yearbook photos are displayed under fair use for the non-commercial purpose of classmate identification and reunion planning.
AI-generated content (age-progressed photos, nostalgia content) is created for entertainment purposes only. You may delete AI-generated content associated with your profile at any time.
You agree not to:
All user-submitted content is subject to automated screening and manual review. Content that violates these terms may be removed. Repeat violations may result in account suspension or termination following our three-strike policy (warning, probation, termination).
Factual yearbook data may be displayed for individuals who have not yet claimed their profile. Any individual may request removal of their photo from an unclaimed profile by contacting us or using the "Request Removal" button on their profile page.
Tribute pages honor deceased classmates with respect and sensitivity. Content on tribute pages is reviewed by event planners. Family requests regarding tribute content are honored within 24 hours, no questions asked.
The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Nostalgic is not liable for user-generated content under Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act. Maximum liability is limited to the fees paid by you (currently zero for all users).
Disputes will be resolved through informal resolution first (30-day negotiation period), followed by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) if informal resolution fails.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Venue for any proceedings shall be Orange County, Florida.
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
